Service worked in consortium with NIPPON KOEI CO., LTD., who had a 40% share, while CESEL SA acted as leader of the consortium with a 60% share.

The general data and main characteristics of the aforementioned road project were:

Supervision and control of
Chiclayo – Chongoyape Highway Works (Length: 59.22 km)

  • Pavement type/thickness: Hot asphalt layer e=0.09 m. (km 00+000-km 07+000) and e=0.075m. (rest of the section). Recovery of asphalt pavement, e=0.15 m.
  • Rolling surface: 6.60 m.
  • Design speed: 60 km/h urban areas and 40 km/h undulating areas
  • Berms: 1.20 m. on each side

Chalhuanca – Abancay Highway, Section I: Chalhuanca – Antarumi Bridge (Length: 63.00 km)

  • Pavement type/thickness: Flexible, hot asphalt concrete (e=0.10 m.)
  • Rolling surface: 6.60 m.
  • Guideline speed: 50 km/h throughout the section, 30 km/h in urban areas or areas with uneven topography
  • Berms: 1.20 m. on each side

Chalhuanca – Abancay Highway, Section II: Antarumi – Abancay Bridge (Length: 55,569 km)

  • Pavement type/thickness: Flexible, hot asphalt concrete (e=0.105 m.)
  • Rolling surface: 6.60 m.
  • Guideline speed: 50 km/h throughout the section, 30 km/h in urban areas or areas with uneven topography
  • Berms: 1.20 m. on each side

Final engineering study

  • Chongoyape – Cajamarca Highway (Length: 292.34 km)
  • Section I: Chongoyape – Llama (58.92 km), Section II: Llama – Cochabamba (59.05 km), Section III: Cochabamba – El Porvenir (56.74 km), Section IV: El Porvenir – Dv. Sipán mines (53.29 km) and Section V: Dv. Sipán Mines – Cajamarca (64.34 km)
